It's everywhere!

It is everywhere.

Existing software solutions are all "adding AI" or and "AI Assistant" to help you use or "do" whatever that software does.

Most of these are simple tools (think: Version 1.0 of the AI Assistant)

Some are still free, but most come with an add-on to your monthly or annual subscription fee.  These additional costs are necessary because they're all just reaching out to the paid AI platforms, like OpenAI (makers of ChatGPT), to power their functions.

I don't mind them getting paid, because the use and value of AI will continue to grow.

Here's what I've seen from my viewpoint in North Scottsdale:

* Every software program has an AI Assistant.   Most of them are clunky and quirky, but at least start to get the job done.  If you see one of those non-standardized icons for AI click it and see if it helps you.  I would love to hear your experiences and frustrations, to see if I can help find a resolution.  Remember to remain focused on your core business activities and use AI to make you smarter or faster in those activities.  Ignore the multitude of AI applications and platforms that are not even a tangent to your core work.

*  The multiple, independent steps that I had to take in March to create a digital avatar, create text for a presentation, generate a voice, and animate an image are now all bundled together into a single platform that does it all.  Some of these (I'll soon play with), will create a full 15-minute video from just a few lines of text.

* Be glad you're not in France, where they banned the use of ChatGPT nationwide (identity concerns)  There they say it like here in the 'States, pronouncing CHAT and then the individual letters of G P & T.  But in French, this sounds like they are saying "Chat, j'ai pété".  **
