Summary

Stage 1:  Rule-based AI Systems.  These follow a predefined set of rules coded by programmers.  These are the basic chatbot that can only follow pre-defined sequence of questions and displayed answers or choices.

Stage 2:  Context aware and retention systems.  These can retain context details from prior interactions.

Stage 3:  Domain-specific mastery systems.   These are highly skilled in specific domains or fields, sometimes called Expert Systems.

Stage 4:  Thinking and reasoning systems (AI).  These look like they show the capacity for thinking and reasoning.

Stage 5:  Artificial General Intelligence (AGI).  These systems equal human intelligence in all aspects.  They are capability of understanding, learning, remembering, adapting, and implementing knowledge across a wide array of topics and tasks.

Stage 6:  Artificial Super Intelligence (ASI).  This is a level where the cognitive skills far surpass those of humans.  ASI systems can outperform humans in a variety of situations and solve problems that humans cannot solve.

Stage 7:  The future trajectory.  This stage includes the ongoing development and advancement of AI beyond the prior 6 stages.
